Last weekend saw our alternate karate gradings on Saturday afternoon and what a great standard, particularly from the high grades!!!
Sunday saw a full day of kickboxing gradings with a junior white belt section for the first time.
This junior grading was still busy with 35 students ranging from 4-12 years old and they all did a fantastic job!!
Next up was junior low grade, again a busy one with some wonderful techniques on show.
High grade juniors were next with only 6 grading but they were really put through their paces with nowhere to hide!!! They worked really hard and showed some great techniques.
Onto the adults next with a quiet grading to start off with the white belt section. That only made them have to work even harder and they didn’t disappoint on the start of their martial arts journey.
Low grades up next with 4 pre dans also starting their grading. A nice busy grading with lots of sweat and hard work. Keep up this fantastic work as you make your way up through your belts!!!
Last bit definitely not least were the high grades with pre dans continuing. Again another busy section with great effort and skill on display.
Special mention to the 4 pre dans, they pushed through all the hard work and showed great technique as well as determination.
Well done to everyone it was a fantastic grading day.
Last week also saw the final week of boot camp which was a little quiet due to holidays and sickness but brilliant effort and fun from all who attended.
Coming up we have alternate kickboxing gradings this Saturday and a full day of karate gradings on Sunday. Sports relief week with a different take on fundraising- keep an eye out for the release of this!!!!
Adult men’s event on the 14th March, sparring special on 7th March and black belt gradings 7th (kickboxing) and 8th (karate)
look forward to seeing you all this week in lessons
