Following our closure on Friday 20th March, myself and Mr and Mrs Walker have been working hard to provide online content and live contact to keep you training / active during this difficult time.
It is more important than ever that we try and get some form of exercise each day. It doesn’t matter what it is, but for our mental health it is so important to do something.
Make sure you get outside, use the once a day government guidelines to go for a walk, run, cycle etc. In your garden, garage or house complete some form of exercise. It will make you feel better and help to maintain a focus. For the children it will provide some “entertainment” and ensure they do not just sit down doing nothing all day.
Our online site will have weekly lessons for each age group / style and also has additional syllabus and activities for your children. Our live videos are to a set schedule and include age specific karate, kickboxing and ninja tyke lessons along with three weekly workouts (no more than 15 minutes). Please do as many online and live videos as you can. Show your training by video / photos and join in the challenges to have a bit of fun!!
By the end of this week Mrs Lafferty will have been in touch with everyone by phone. Please continue to support the academy so it can be in the best possible position for when we re-open….and we will reopen the second the Government confirms that we can. We are missing each and every one of our students and parents. Please use our groups for the support and help that we will need to get us all through this challenging time.
Mr and Mrs Walker and myself are there for you all. We are Chuldow and we are family.
Stay safe, stay strong and stay positive.
